Students and Parents: We are approaching the end of the first semester. Each level of CJ will have a comprehensive semester exam covering everything from the beginning of the year through the end of the semester. This grade is not an EOC, nor does it count or weigh more than any other test. It allows the instructor, student, and parent to see what the student has actually retained and will prepare them for college type testing. If we are unable to administer this test before the break, we will administer this test as soon as we can, upon return from the break.
SEPTEMBER 24th, 2018:
STUDENTS AND PARENTS: As we are nearing the end of the nine weeks, be mindful that if there is work to be made up by a student, it must be completed and turned in by Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018. Please do not wait until the last minute. It takes time to grade assignments and tests and enter them into the system. Any work not made up, may be assigned a "zero", which no one wants, including me. I hope everyone is having a happy and productive year and I look forward to the next nine weeks.
Secondly, Martin Methodist College has invited FHS Criminal Justice and other area high schools to participate in a criminal justice competition on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. If you are interested in being considered for a part on this team. Please sign you name to the sign-up sheet posted in my classroom. I anticipate that this will be a fun, learning experience. GO TIGERS!!!!!
