Health Department now providing immunizations

The Lincoln County Health Department is now providing immunizations for children for the upcoming school year.

Immunizations for seventh graders can be provided curbside. Parents can call the Health Department, at 433-3231, upon arrival, and a nurse will come outside to give the vaccines unless the parent would feel more comfortable coming into the Health Department.

For kindergarten and pre-kindergarten children needing immunizations, one caregiver should bring the child into the Health Department to complete those immunizations safely due to the child’s age.

If parents are unsure if their children’s immunizations are up to date, call the Lincoln County Health Department at 433-3231, and staff will be happy to look up the information.

The Health Department is located at 1000 West Washington Street in Fayetteville.
