Welcome back to the Tiger family!
Welcome back to the Tiger family, Montie Dangerfield! We are excited to announce that Ms. Dangerfield has returned to Fayetteville High School as assistant principal.
Born and raised in Fayetteville, she attended Fayetteville Junior High School and graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1984. She taught for 21 years before becoming an administrator.
She completed both her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications and English and her Master’s degree in Public and Community Health from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. She earned her Ed.S. degree from Tennessee State University.
Ms. Dangerfield also graduated from The Institute of Massage Therapy and Movement in Nashville in 1998. She’s a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and is also a part-time dance fitness instructor at the Patrick-Rehab Wellness Center in Fayetteville.
She is the proud mom of a 26-year-old son, Matthew, who lives in Chattanooga.
“My first teaching job was at Fayetteville Junior High School, and it's such a blessing to be back where I started my teaching career,” she said. “I'm over-the-moon excited about making connections with the students, faculty, and staff at FHS!”
