  • Latest News on TSSAA Ruling

    TSSAA has denied our request for appeal and as a result our football season will come to close. We want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support through all the obstacles we have faced this season. We certainly wanted a better outcome for our team but words cannot express the immense amount of pride we feel for this team and what they have done this year. We know the real record in our hearts and Once A Tiger Always A Tiger!

  • In Memory of Tate

    Words cannot describe how deeply saddened and heartbroken we are to have lost a member of our Tiger Family, Tate Tuten. Tate was an exceptional young man with a larger than life personality that will certainly be missed. His absence will be felt tremendously by our students and faculty. We would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the Tuten Family and express our most sincere condolences for their loss.   • Fayetteville High School Receives Excellent Ranking by U.S. News!

    U.S. News evaluated more than 20,500 public high schools around the country and identified Fayetteville High School among the top 40% of schools nationally ranked. Fayetteville High School was ranked 54 out of 347 high schools ranked in the state of Tennessee.   • New School Security at Fayetteville City Schools

    Over Spring Break, we have been working on putting more school security in place in our district. As you may have noticed, we have installed a door security system and additional security cameras at each school to better ensure the safety of our students and staff. Visitors will no longer be able to walk into the buildings freely after school check in times / before school check out times. A video call system has been installed at the entrance of each school so that the personnel in the front office will be able to buzz visitors in at their discretion.
