Fayetteville City Schools Closed for MLK Day
The Fayetteville City Schools will be closed Monday, January 21st in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Christmas Break
Tomorrow is our half day of school before Christmas Break! The Fayetteville City Schools wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We will return January 7th, 2019.

Toy Drive and Critter Campaign
The Annual Toy Drive & Critter Campaign IS GOING ON NOW! When students bring in toys or pet items, their names will go into a drawing for the Victor Award! On Friday, November 30th a winner from each grade will be drawn. The winners will ride on Victor’s float during the Annual Christmas Parade on December 1st at 5 PM as Mini Victors! Annual Lincoln County Toy Drive organized by the Fayetteville Fire Department, Fayetteville Rotary Club, and The Elk Valley Times. The Critter Campaign benefits the local Humane Society.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest Winners
RAS students decorated pumpkins inspired by their favorite book character. A panel of judges voted and 3 students from each grade took home prizes for their creations. Click here to see the winners.

Fayetteville Police Department Visits RAS
Thank you to officers Darren Dickinson and Adriane Grubaugh of the Fayetteville TN Police Department for visiting RAS during College App Week. Students got the opportunity to learn what police officers do for our community and received safety coloring books and treats to take home with them. Lots of students dressed up as police officers for Career Dress Up Day. It looks like we will have many aspiring officers to keep our community safe.

Tomorrow (Thursday, November 8th, 2018) is individual picture retake day! Please let your child’s teacher know if you want their picture taken. All new students who missed our first picture day in early September will have pictures taken this day as well!

Tigers need vacations too! Take Victor on your adventures this summer!
