Degrees and Certifications:
I am excited about teaching Digital Arts & Design at Fayetteville High School. In 2000, my family moved to Fayetteville and we currently own Fritz’s Chuckwagon Diner. I have been an educational assistant and volleyball coach for 10 years at FHS. My bachelor’s degree is Communication: Advertising with minors in Spanish and Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga .
Digital Arts & Design I is a foundational course in the Arts, A/V Technology, & Communications cluster for students interested in art and design professions. Students will acquire basic skills in illustration, typography, and photography.
Topics we’ll cover include: history & evolution of graphic design, typography, copywriting, photography, layout & composition, printing, employability skills in graphic design, and career opportunities.
This is a great course to explore your interest in the field of graphic design, meet industry professionals, and lay the foundation to be prepared to succeed in this career.
