• Welcome to my class for the 2022-2023 school year. Students are required to sign up for Google Classrooms, and remind for their class. Students will also be required to be able to access their school email and their Skyward account. Class communication will take place using email, remind and google classrooms. Students are expected to access email and Google classrooms daily and Skyward weekly to check for missing assignments. Students and parents can access grades in science class using Skyward. Every attempt will be made to sync grades on Fridays. If an assignment is turned in on skyward they are generally graded quickly and grades are returned to you immediately, but they may not appear in skyward until grades are synced. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.

Ms. Candice Matheny

I am beginning my fifteenth year of teaching. This is my seventh year at FHS. This year I will be teaching honors physics and regular and honors chemistry. I live in Fayetteville. My step-daughter, Cole is a junior at MTSU. I have a cat (Riley) and two greyhounds (Wolverine and Toast). I believe it is imperative that administrators, teachers, and parents all work together to ensure our students get the best possible education. I look forward to the 2022-2023 school year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Go Tigers!
