About the Art Department

  • The Fayetteville High School Visual Art program offers courses from Art I through AP. FHS is frequently called upon by the community for public works ranging from mural work to creating cows for the slawburger festival. Fayetteville City Schools is proud to participate in the annual student exhibition at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville. The Visual Art program stresses interconnectedness of the core subject matters and emphasizes higher order thinking and problem solving through art production. The program is presided over by Ms. Selfe.
