A Letter from Our Director
I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bill W. Hopkins, Jr., and I am the new Director of Schools. I look forward to working with you as we partner to provide the very best education possible for the students of Fayetteville City. This is my 31st year in public education, and I am very excited to be given this opportunity to lead such an outstanding school district. I look forward to getting to know all of you and helping your children achieve great things.
The ingredients to an outstanding school system are fully evident in Fayetteville, a city leadership team that places tremendous value in public education, a school board composed of committed and passionate community members, devoted faculty and staff, involved parents, and most importantly, a great group of young people that comprise our student body.
In closing, I will work tirelessly to make sure our schools are a place where your child wants to come each and every day to challenge themselves, to socialize, and to achieve all that they can achieve as learners. I am proud to be your Director of Schools. Great things are happening in Fayetteville City Schools. Go TIGERS!
