Meeting Announcements

The Fayetteville City School Board will meet on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the Fayetteville Municipal Building Multi-Purpose Room, 110 Elk Avenue South, Fayetteville, TN 37334.  An extension of the contract with the Director of Schools is on the agenda.

This public notice is made pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. §49-2-203 and provides 15 days’ notice of the Board’s intent to extend a contract to a person for the Director of Schools position.

In accordance with Board Policy 1.404, individuals desiring to appear before the Board to make public comment must submit a written request with descriptive materials to the office of the Director of Schools five (5) days before the meeting.

The Fayetteville City School Board’s Finance Committee will meet Monday, June 2, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., at the Fayetteville City School System Central Office, located on the 2nd floor of the Fayetteville Municipal Building, 110 Elk Ave. S, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

The Facilities Committee meets the third Wednesday of March, June, September and December at 11:30 a.m. at the Central Office, 110 Elk Avenue South, Suite 200, Fayetteville, TN 37334. Emergency meetings not following the quarterly schedule are announced to media, listed on the system website, fcsboe.org, and posted at the Fayetteville Municipal Building.
