BOLC presents check to FMS
Bank of Lincoln County representatives Michaela Brown and Susan Massey were on hand at Ralph Askins School, Fayetteville Middle School and Fayetteville High School to present checks to each of the schools, proceeds from the bank’s debit card reward program. BOLC also provided lunch for the staffs there, as well as the central office. We appreciate BOLC’s support of Fayetteville City Schools!

Dawkins retires
Lee Ann Dawkins, pictured during a reception held in her honor, is retiring from Fayetteville Middle School after more than 21 years there. Mrs. Dawkins primarily taught English Language Arts and for many years was the director of the spring drama production. We wish her well and will miss her at Fayetteville Middle School.

Student are encouraged to check their teacher's Google Classroom page. This will give them access to online activities that will help encourage learning during this time away from school. FMS Tiger Break-Out Day!
We will be having our annual FMS Tiger Break-Out Day on Monday, May 20th. Students will walk to Don Davidson Park and spend the day at the park. Many fun activities are planned. All students must return the permission form to the school by Friday, May 17th. You child should have a copy of the permission form given out by their teacher, but if you need another copy, please print out the form and return to school by Friday. New School Security at Fayetteville City Schools
Over Spring Break, we have been working on putting more school security in place in our district. As you may have noticed, we have installed a door security system and additional security cameras at each school to better ensure the safety of our students and staff. Visitors will no longer be able to walk into the buildings freely after school check in times / before school check out times. A video call system has been installed at the entrance of each school so that the personnel in the front office will be able to buzz visitors in at their discretion.
