  • Bill Askew was a true friend to Fayetteville City Schools and dedicated 35 years to serving as a board member and an advocate for students. His dream was to see a city high school become a reality. As an avid reader and someone who provided lifelong learning, it is a fitting tribute to dedicate the FHS Library to this wonderful man. I can think of no one who could be more deserving. I feel blessed to have known him, worked with him, and to have called him a friend. May God bless his family as they cherish his memory. - Dr. Janine M. Wilson
