Wow! We’re really moving along on the
letters! So far, we’ve studied M, F, B,
S, J, P, H, D, C, A, T, E, Y, and O. We
have also studied numbers 0-10. Keeping
those skills in mind, below are articles and fun activities for you and your
child to explore at home together.

v
Read to your child every night if you
can. It is one of the most important
activities the two of you can share. Use
the time to cuddle up together and make the reading experience loving and
enjoyable.
v
Remember
not to turn every reading experience into a lesson. Your overall goal is to provide a pleasurable
reading experience.
v
Occasionally,
have your child place his/her finger under each word as the two of you read.
v
Ask
your child to predict what will happen next at a natural point in the
story.
v
Ask your
child if he/she liked the way the book ended.
If not, ask how he/she might change it.
