Posey’s Newsletter

 

This week we studied the letter “Cc.” We learned about the country of Canada. Did you know that it is the second largest country (by land mass) in the world? We also learned to make inferences based upon certain situations. The class learned more about leaders and that no matter where we are someone is essentially in charge. Learning about symmetry this week has been really fun for the children and we also had a great time completing lots of fun activities to help us remember the different sounds that the letter “Cc” makes. Please remember to send a coat, gloves, etc… with your child as we will continue to go to the playground each day. The only time we will not go on the playground is if the ground is wet, if it’s raining, or if it is extremely cold outside. Also, continue to work on the Magic/Sight words with your child. I’ve been extremely impressed with how well many of the children are reading. The time you spend with your child going over the Magic Words and reading with your child most definitely pays off. Thanks for all you do and have a great weekend!
