I. Classroom Rules
A. Any student who is not in his/her seat when the bell rings is late.
B. Students must participate in class. Sleeping is not allowed.
C. Students may not chew gum or eat in class.
D. Students must sit in assigned seats each day.
E. Be respectful to the teacher and other students in the class.
F. Students will not be excused to go to the restroom water fountain, office or telephone unless there is an emergency.
II. Classroom Policies
A. Homework will be checked each day.
B. All work must be done in PENCIL. No credit will be given for anything in ink.
C. Each student will be required to keep a notebook. This notebook will contain all class notes, examples, homework, daily objectives, and any work or projects assigned.
D. Make-up work:
All work must be made up within three days. The student is responsible for asking the teacher for assignments.
III. Grading Policy
A. Test grades will count 50% of final grade. Homework grade, notebook grade, and quiz average will make up the other 50%.
B. Extra Credit will be given for staying one day each week in the after school program.
IV. Required Materials

dry erase marker (fine point)
A calculator is recommended. The TI-84 Plus will be used during class and it will benefit the student to purchase one of their own.
B. Special projects will be announced in ample time to purchase required materials.
