7^TH GRADE

The Geography notebook will be divided into eight sections (Using the Dividers) and labeled as follows:

A. Analogies

B. Daily Objectives

C. Homework Assignments

D. Homework

E. Classwork

F. Test

G. Projects

H. Current Events

The notebook will be taken up at the end of each quarter and counts 35% of the student’s grade each quarter.

A student’s grade each quarter in 7^th grade World Geography will be figured as follows:

1. All grades – 60%

2. Notebook – 35%

3. Quarter Exam – 5%

9^th GRADE

There will be three grades taken each quarter from the World Geography notebook and will count 10% of the student’s grade each quarter. Students will complete a title page at the beginning of each chapter studied. It will be graded based on originality, neatness, and how it pertains to the subject matter from that chapter. The student will keep all their work in the notebook and placed behind the particular chapter title page.

A student’s grade each quarter in 9^th grade World Geography will be figured as follows:

1. All grades – 75%

2. Notebook – 10%

3. Quarter Exam – 15%

CLASS RULES

1. ALWAYS BE ON TIME (BE IN YOUR SEAT BEFORE THE LATE BELL RINGS).

2. RAISE YOUR HAND TO BE RECOGNIZED.

3. STAY IN YOUR SEAT UNLESS YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO BE UP.

4. ALWAYS FULLY COMPLETE ALL ASSIGNMENTS.

5. EACH DAY BRING THE TEXTBOOK, NOTEBOOK, AND ALL MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE CLASS.

6. FOLLOW THE RULES THE FIRST TIME THEY ARE GIVEN.
