I want to thank each of you for you support during this 2010-2011 school year. I have been blessed to be the principal of Ralph Askins School these past eight years. As I move to my new job this summer, I wish you each the best. I have been meeting today with the new principal, Mrs. Rujena Dotson. She is excited over being selected to be the leader of this fantastic school. I know you will support her just as you have me. Please note the following: Thursday, May 26 is our final day for awards. We will follow this schedule: 8:20 a.m. 3rd grade awards 9:15 a.m. kindergarten and first grade awards 10:20 a.m. 2nd grade awards We will give out our annuals on Thursday afternoon after lunch. Our last day is Friday, May 27. This is an abbreviated day. We usually dismiss around 10:00 a.m. on this day. Report cards will not be given out until Friday morning (May 27) after the 8:05 a.m. announcements. May God bless our third graders and may they make a successful transition to the new experiences awaiting them at Fayetteville Middle School!
