FJHS Announcements
Week of March 22-26th

WELCOME BACK!!!
We are now in our 4th and final 9 weeks of the 2009-2010 school year!

CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Lance Evans and his wife Haley:
They welcomed their second child, Maclain Annabea Evans, at 5 am Monday (3/22/10) morning
She weighs 8 lbs 4 oz and is 20 inches long


Reports Cards will go out Tuesday March 23rd


Students of the Week:
    ~7th grade: Summer Shelton
    ~8th grade: Chris Patterson
    ~9th grade: Beth Stubblefield

Cheerleading:
    ~Try-outs held this week, 3:30 to 5:00 Monday through Thursday...with Judging Friday - 3:30 until

Soccer:
    ~Monday March 22nd, game away at Bridgeforth, 5:00 p.m.
    ~Thursday March 25th, game away at St. Andrews, 5:00 p.m.
  
Golf:
    ~No practice Monday due to weather
    ~Practice on Wednesday, 3:00-5:00, at FJHS
        be sure to bring your 7 iron and pitching wedge
    ~Practice on Friday, 3:30-5:00, at the Country Club
    ~First match is next Monday the 29th between FJHS, North, South, and a county schools composite team

Basketball:
    ~Boys Try-outs, April 5th & 6th, 3:30-5:00
    ~Girls Try-outs, April 8th & 9th,  3:30- 5:00

Thursday March 25th:
    ~8th grade will have eyes checked by the Lion's Club

Afterschool homework programs changes:
    ~Mrs. Holland will offer afterschool assistance only on Mondays and Wednesdays 
        but will still be available every morning, Monday - Friday
    ~Mrs. Dorris and Mrs. McBride will continue their Monday - Thursday afterschool programs

TCAP:
    ~7th and 8th grade will take TCAP the week of April 12th-16th
    Attendance if very important!
