Parents,

I just wanted to remind you about our end of the year awards for this school year.  The program will be held on Thursday, May 27th, and will begin at 8:00am in our gym.  Everyone is invited.  Report cards can be picked-up on Friday with busses running a little before 10:00.  I would also like to thank all the parents who have worked with us this year for your support.  A special thank-you to Mr. Billy Joe Evans who is retiring after 22 years of service as director with the Fayetteville City School System.  Thanks to Mr. Glen Belcher who is retiring and has worked with our 6th grade band program for many years.  Lastly, Mr. Bill Jenkins has also decided to retire with 37 years with the system (and the last 13 at FIS).  Bill, catch a big one!  These gentlemen will be missed.  Thank you for the work, support, dedication, and caring you have put into our schools and community throughout the years.  

This has been a wonderful year.  Have a wonderful and safe summer.  We are looking forward to next year!  Please contact me if I can help you in any way.
