FIS Announcements:

  a.. Tuesday, May 4th - Progress Reports go home
  b.. Friday, May 7th - 6th Grade and Beginning Band plays for FIS at 9:00
  c.. Friday, May 7th - Concessions - each item is 50 cents

Upcoming Events:

  a.. Tuesday, May 11th - 4th Grade Field Trip to Motlow for "Kid to College Day."
  b.. Tuesday, May 11th - FIS School Play - The Saga of the Golden Horseshoe, or That Was No Lady, That Was My Filly will be premiering that night at 6:30 p.m. in the FIS gymnasium.
  c.. Wednesday, May 12th - Ralph Askins 3rd Graders to visit and watch the play - 8:30
  d.. Thursday, May 13th - 4th Grade Field Trip to Lincoln County Fair Grounds for Farm Safety Day.
  e.. Thursday, May 13th - FIS/FJHS Art Show at FJHS in the cafeteria - 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  f.. Thursday, May 13th - FIS/FJHS Band Performance at FJHS gymnasium at 7:30 p.m.
  g.. Friday, May 14th - FIS School Play performance at 6:30 p.m. in the FIS gymnasium.

I would like to make everyone aware of the recent recall on several children's medications.  Tylenol, Motrin, and Zyrtec for children in liquid form have all been recalled due to these containing higher concentrations of the active ingredient.  The generic forms of these medications are safe to use.  Below is a list of all medications that have been recalled.  
Although your child may have these medications here at school, due to the recalls, I will not administer any of the medications listed below.
