[FIS Announcements] New Offerings from Motlow and MTSU for Adults

Parents,

We would like to pass along the following information.  Many parents may be interested in this educational opportunity to earn a degree from Motlow and/or MTSU in an exciting new program/partnership. 



Motlow College and Middle Tennessee State University partner to bring educational opportunities to the adult learner in Lincoln County.

Are you the adult learner?  Check to see - 

o   Are you 23 years of age or older?

o   Thought you didn't have time for college?

o   If you have started college in the past, did you think the possibility of finishing your degree was out of reach considering your busy life?

o   Interested in only coming to college one or two nights a week or taking classes in an accelerated format?

o   Want to get credit for life experience?

o   Would you like individualized attention with meeting your educational goals?

Sounds interesting and exciting, right?  

Please plan to attend an informational meeting hosted by Motlow College and MTSU on Monday, October 26 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Fayetteville Center of Motlow College.  You will learn about Motlow's Adult College Express Program (ACE) and MTSU's Adult Degree Completion program.  The ACE program is for individuals who have not been to college before or have completed some college.  The Adult Degree Completion program is for individuals who have graduated with an associate's degree and are seeking a bachelor's degree.  Both of these programs will be available at the Fayetteville Center of Motlow College beginning January 2010. Also, at this informational meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor and learn more about financial aid options available to adult learners.
