FIS Announcements for the Week:

  a.. Reports Cards will be going home October 20th.  Please sign and return one copy the following day. 
  b.. School Program - "The Energized Guyz" - October 21st at 2:00. 
  c.. Awards Ceremony will be October 22nd at 8:10 in the gymnasium. 
  d.. Custodian Appreciation Day - October 22nd - A special thank you goes out to George Brown and Deborah McKinney.  They do a fantastic job keeping our school looking great!!


Upcoming Events:

  a.. 4-H Fourth Grade - October 27th 
  b.. 4-H Fifth Grade - October 28th 
  c.. 4-H Sixth Grade - October 29th 
  d.. Book Fair in the Library - November 2nd - November 6th.  If interested in volunteering, please call the office at 438-2533    


***Note of interest***

The University of Alabama in Huntsville is hosting a "Girls in Science
and Math" event, November 14, 2009.  The objective of the event is to interest
girls in grades 3-5 in science and math.  The cost is $15 per child.  If
you are interested in bringing a child to the event, the attachment
provides detailed registration and event information
