Fayetteville City School System will be registering students for the Pre-K program (for 4 year olds) for the 2012-2013 school year Thursday, February 23 from 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday, February 24 from 7:30am-4:00pm .  The school is located at the end of Third Avenue at 901 Shady Lane. The pre-K program is an all day program which also offers F.A.S.T. (Fayetteville After School Time) to students each afternoon until 6:00pm.

Both City and County residents may apply for admission into this program. We are excited to offer this special program for the thirteenth year. Each of the seven pre-K classrooms has a highly qualified teacher as well as a highly qualified paraprofessional in the room. Applicants must be four years old by September 30, 2012 (but not to exceed 4 years of age prior to September 30, 2012) to qualify for admission.

Parents should bring the following to Ralph Askins School:

    1. Certified Birth Certificate

    2. Social Security Card

    3. Proof of Residence (Electric bill, phone bill, etc., but not a driver’s license) 

    4. Current Tennessee Immunization Card and Physical Form or Appointment   

        Card from Doctor

    5. Verification of Income as it applies (Form will be available to fill out at

        registration)

The registration forms and other program information will be available on the Fayetteville City Schools website (www.fcsboe.org). We welcome you to print this information off and complete it to bring with you to the school during the registration times. Upon application, a date for screening will be scheduled and a list of items necessary to meet the criteria for enrollment will be provided. *The Pre-K Registration Form, Health History Form, and Home Language Survey are available on this site.  Please complete those forms and bring those with you on the registration dates. 

*Transportation to the Pre-K program is not provided by the Fayetteville City Schools.

*Admission for students into the Pre-K program will be determined on the basis of home residence, not on place of business of parent(s).
