Band at Fayetteville City

Bands in the Fayetteville City School System have a long tradition of excellence. Currently, the school system has three bands.

 The Fayetteville High School Band is the top instrumental music performing group in the Fayetteville City School System. Made up of students from the 8th - 10th grades, the band peforms at football games and gives concerts regularly throughout the year. Students have opportunity to develop not only skills as musicians, but as leaders and fine young adults. 

The school system also has two middle school bands. Students in the sixth and seventh grades participate in band concerts and other activities designed to help them grow in their musical skills.
