Class Assignments – Changed the default of the auto fill for all assignments to a blank assignment. Also changed the default of the copy option to a blank. (This will force the user to fill in the appropriate information).

ALSO

 

When auto filling all assignments with a particular grade, it will only process those assignments for the Marking Period which you currently have on the screen. (This will now force the user to fill in the appropriate Marking Period).

 

 

Gradebook Categories – Only show Marking Periods that the teacher is allowed to see. This is set up in the Marking Period table. A new column was added “Teacher Code”.

 

 

 

Teacher Class Roster – Added school2 logic. (You will see all students on your roster with their “current” school listed.

 


Teacher Gradebook

1.) Added the ability to enter Assignment Notes on teacher gradebook (double-click in the assignment score box to enter notes).

Note: Assignment notes will also be shown on the parent screen (student_gradebook component) where assignment scores were shown.

 

 

2.) Added an Extra Pts field to add additional points to the end of calculation average.

3.) Assignments with notes will now display in red.

4.) AutoFill Extra Points option on the bottom of the screen.

 

 

 

5.) Enhancement 1303 – The students name will no longer scroll off the screen when you enter comments.

6.) Only the marking periods with the teacher_posting value of “Y” will show up in the list of possible options in the teacher gradebook.

 

 

Teacher Schedule – Changed the Teacher Schedule so it will still bring back a class even though it is not meeting on current day. It will also list a class for a teacher if that teacher is listed in the “other teacher” ID field on the meeting time tab of the Course/Section data screen.

 

Any “option” on the Parent Portal for email addresses will now pull from the Teacher Table not from the User_ID table.

 

 

Student Schedule – Changed the schedule so it will now return classes which do not meet on the “current day”. (If a student has a class only met on one day (Monday), when you viewed the student’s schedule on any other day than Monday, it would not show on the schedule. Now it will appear.

 

 

Student Transcript – This will now pull the GPA information from the “Year-To-Date” (ahsygpa) not the “Semester GPA” (ahssgpa).

 

 

 

Counselor Portal – This new feature will be available on the 0706 update to be released in June. If you did not sign up for this session during the conference, you have been given a copy of the presentations in the packet you received when you registered. (This feature is not yet available to TN.)

 Post Elementary Grades – Any transaction made in this routine will now write to the grade change audit table.

 

Post Grades – Changed the comments field into 3 separate comment fields with “List of Value” capability. (You also have the ability to manually enter these as well as using the List of Values).

 

 

 

Post Student Grades – Any transaction made in this routine will now write to the grade change audit table. ALSO Added Fix Credit column and Fixed Credit Reason to the students grade posting screen. Double click fixed credit to access the popup box to enter the Fixed Credit Reason.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Post Interims - Changed the Commendations and Deficiencies drop-downs to single fields with the List of Value look-up. (You also have the ability to manually enter these as well as using the List of Values).
